On January 8, 2026, Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Rashid Ab Hamid participated in the International Community Service Program (Professors Go To School) at SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. The program aimed to strengthen students' understanding of numeracy, mathematics, and science through contextual, applied, and inspirational learning approaches.
On October 10–11, 2025, the PSM UMPSA and MRSM Kuala Berang successfully conducted the Program Peningkatan Matematik (ProMath) at Dewan Tok Ku Paloh. Led by Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Noryanti Muhammad and a team of five PSM lecturers, the two-day initiative aimed to bolster Form 3 students' mathematical foundations through intensive workshops on Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics, as well as an introduction to Data Science and Mathematical Olympiad (OMK) problems.
On December 22, 2025, the Mathematics Support Centre and the CSR/CSI unit of UMPSA’s Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), in partnership with the SEJAHTERA staff association, successfully hosted the "Level Up Maths!" program. This school holiday initiative provided 50 children of UMPSA staff from the Gambang and Pekan campuses with targeted coaching in Algebra, a foundational subject that often proves challenging for Form 1 to 3 students.
On November 15, 2025, the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM) at UMPSA conducted a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program at the Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary in Lanchang, Pahang. Participants engaged in conservation efforts including cleaning elephant enclosures, attending educational briefings by PERHILITAN officers, and interacting directly with the sanctuary's 17 Asian elephants through activities like river bathing.
