On December 22, 2025, the Mathematics Support Centre and the CSR/CSI unit of UMPSA’s Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM), in partnership with the SEJAHTERA staff association, successfully hosted the "Level Up Maths!" program. This school holiday initiative provided 50 children of UMPSA staff from the Gambang and Pekan campuses with targeted coaching in Algebra, a foundational subject that often proves challenging for Form 1 to 3 students. Facilitated by volunteer PSM lecturers, the sessions focused on simplifying complex concepts and strengthening mathematical fundamentals in a supportive environment. The program received high praise from parents for its effective teaching approach, which notably boosted the students' confidence and understanding. By fostering a passion for mathematics during the academic break, PSM UMPSA continues to advance its mission of nurturing the next generation of STEM talent within its community.
