On September 3, 2025, the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM) at UMPSA conducted a specialized Mathematics Workshop at Maahad Tahfiz Negeri Pahang (MTNP) to prepare students for the International Mathematical Olympiad National Selection Test (IMONST) 2025. Facilitated by five expert lecturers — PM Dr. Mohd Sham Mohamad, Dr. Adam Shariff Adli Aminuddin, Dr. Noratikah Abu, Dr. Amirul Aizad Ahmad Fuad, and Dr. Sahimel Azwal Sulaiman—the two-hour session focused on strengthening analytical skills and solving high-level, non-routine problems. Through guided exploration and collaborative tasks, students gained deeper insights into competition-standard mathematics, resulting in increased confidence and readiness. This outreach initiative underscores UMPSA’s commitment to nurturing young mathematical talent and supporting academic excellence across Pahang.
